The Dreidel

Here is your basic Dreidel

The Dreidel Box

I first learned how to make this from a local woodturner. I later found out that the originator or these tops is none other than Bonnie Klein. Her tops not only have her trademark of the chatter tool work and lively colors, she has gone on to make them out of acrylic and had also makes a threaded box out of the actual top!   

The box can be used for storing Chanukah gelt,  jewelry, etc. In the case below, it's used to store a mini Dreidel

My patented four wood segmented Dreidels

Instead of the four letters, I used four types of wood that you can correspond to the letters as you wish.

Other Assorted Dreidels

The solid wood Dreidels are of olive and imbuya. The one in the middle helps you make use of your outdated program disks. I also make this version with a plain silver disk and add the four Hebrew letters.
